EVENT LIABILITY WAIVER & RELEASE AGREEMENT Event Name: Private Music & Camping Gathering Event Dates: October 10, 2025 – October 13, 2025 Location: 20252 Big Canyon Road, Middletown, CA 95461. Private 3-acre residence near Harbin Hot Springs, CA Property Owner: Wade Skeels and the Skeels Family Trust (July 13, 2020) 1. PRIVATE MEMBERSHIP ORGANIZATION I voluntarily agree to join Big Canyon Revival, a private membership not-for--profit organization, which is hosting a gathering on October 10, 2025 - October 13, 2025. 2. ASSUMPTION OF RISK In consideration of being allowed to participate in the gathering on a rustic private operational farm, I, the undersigned, hereby acknowledge and understand that my participation in this private gathering, including but not limited to camping, RV parking, holistic activities, music events, hiking, and related social activities, involves inherent risks, including but not limited to: Slip, Trip, and/or Falls: uneven terrain, unlighted areas, potholes/gopher holes, loose gravel, muddy or slippery surfaces, stairs with and without handrails, terraced walls without guard rails, water riser pipes and irrigation, and other hazards that may not be visible, and/or that may cause injury to myself or others. Animal Encounters: the presence of wildlife, including but not limited to snakes, ticks, spiders, deer, and other animals that may be present on the farm. Farm Equipment and Machinery: the presence of farm equipment and machinery, including but not limited to tractors, combines, tools, and other heavy equipment. Weather Conditions: inclement weather, including but not limited to extreme temperatures, wind, rain, and other weather conditions. Fire hazards (cooking equipment, electrical, RV appliances) Theft or damage to personal property Trampoline and water plunge pool(s) are used at your own risk Pedestrians and Vehicles: Farm gathering, camping, and access is located adjacent to an unlighted country road without sidewalks or crosswalks I acknowledge and agree that I assume all risks associated with participating in the gathering on the farm which includes inherent risks of it being an operational farm, including but not limited to the risks listed above. 3. RELEASE OF LIABILITY and INDEMNIFICATION In consideration of being allowed to participate in this event, I hereby release, waive, and discharge Big Canyon Revival Private Membership Organization, Wade Skeels and the Skeels Family Trust (July 13, 2020) - the property owner, event organizers, volunteers, and any affiliated individuals or entities from any and all liability, claims, demands, actions, or causes of action arising out of or related to any loss, damage, or injury, including death, that may be sustained by Skeels or Skeels Property, whether caused by negligence or otherwise, while participating in, or traveling to and from this gathering on the Big Canyon Revival Private Land location. I hereby agree to indemnify and hold harmless Big Canyon Revival Private Membership Organization, the Property Owner and all event organizers from any claims, damages, costs, or expenses, including Court Costs, Attorney Fees, any other associated fees or costs that may arise from my actions or participation in the gathering. Property Owner is entitled to Court Costs, Attorney Fees, and any other associated fees or costs for any such claims. I hereby agree to pay for my own medical expenses that may be incurred as a result of my participation in the gathering on the farm. 4. NO LIABILITY FOR PERSONAL PROPERTY I understand and agree that the property owner and event organizers are not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged personal belongings, including camping gear, RVs, vehicles, or valuables. 5. MEDICAL TREATMENT I understand that in the event of a medical emergency, reasonable efforts will be made to contact emergency services. I assume full responsibility for any medical expenses I or my dependents may incurred as a result of injury or illness during the gathering. 6. ALCOHOL, SUBSTANCE USE, & BEHAVIOR I acknowledge that this is a private gathering and agree to act responsibly. Illegal substances are prohibited. I understand that any dangerous or disruptive behavior may result in immediate removal from the event without refund or recourse. 7. CHILDREN/MINORS Adults: Each adult (18+) must complete and sign this agreement individually. Minors: A parent or legal guardian must sign on behalf of any minor (under 18) in their care, acknowledging responsibility for their safety and waiving liability on the same terms outlined above. 9. ACKNOWLEDGMENT & SIGNATURE By signing this document, I acknowledge that I have read, understood, and voluntarily agreed to its terms. I am aware that by signing this release, I am giving up substantial legal rights, including the right to sue. You are advised to seek your own legal counsel prior to signing this binding agreement.
